Join us in an exciting, hands-on event where you can build a real robot gripper from scratch & see some cool robots in action.
…. Don’t worry, we will show you how to build a gripper.

Join Western Space researcher Dr. Mehrdad Kermani and his group to learn about robotic grippers and arm workshop during the Science Literacy Week. The participants will be building the simplet human-actuated gripper using 3D printed parts. In addition to building, there will be demonstration of several actual robotic grippers with flexible fingers.

This event is specifically for kids, 8 yrs old and above. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend. As this workshop takes places in a lab space, this event is limited to 20 participants and hence, prior registration is required.
